Ruschmeyer's Restaurant and Inn

This bright and airy location located on 5 wooded acres offers picturesque views of Montauk's Fort Pond and a personal catering experience, year-round. We can accommodate intimate events for 20 or full-scale receptions for up to 300 .

We offer several room and location options on site. Have your cocktail party outside under towering oak trees, then move inside for your reception.

Main Dining Room
Our 2400 square foot Main Dining Room can accommodate up to 180. The bright, airy room was newly renovated in 2002 - its high ceilings with natural wood beams bring a casual feel to this elegant setting. The room can easily be transformed into whatever theme you desire.

Pavilion Room
With its large bay windows overlooking our lawn and Garden area, the Pavillion Room offers an intimate setting for up to 20.

Breakfast Room
Our 1600 square foot Breakfast Room includes a bar and room for dancing, and can seat up to 60. Its Tudor style harkens back to the 20s, when Carl Fisher planned to transform Montauk into the "Miami of the North."

Garden Area and Gazebo
Our beautifully landscaped Garden Area and Gazebo offer the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. If it is a tent wedding you are dreaming about, we can erect a tent directly over the area to accommodate from 50 to 300 guests, with a dance floor.

Reef Grill at the Montauk LighthouseWith astounding views of the historic Montauk Lighthouse and of the Long Island and Block Island Sounds from the back deck, what better place to celebrate your special day. Exchange vows on the Lighthouse grounds, then stroll over to the Reef Grill for your cocktail party or reception.

Montauk Downs State Park

Available year-round, the clubhouse at Montauk Downs State Park offers a one-of-a-kind location at which to hold your reception.

Top of the Downs
With its 4000 square feet of interior space and wrap-around verandah, the Top of the Downs on the second floor of the clubhouse can accommodate up to 180. Its floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of one of the top public golf courses in the country and of Montauk landmarks and sights.

Eagle Tavern
Located on the first floor of the Montauk Downs clubhouse, the Eagle Tavern offers an intimate catered experience for up to 40.
